Voodoo Festival Organisers Press On With Plans

The organisers of New Orleans, Louisiana's annual Voodoo Music Experience are pressing on with plans to stage this year's festival - even though the city has been left ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.

The show, which was scheduled for the end of October (05), will now take place in another city, with proceeds going directly to the victims of last month's (AUG05) storms.

The Voodoo Music Experience was billed to feature MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, NEW YORK DOLLS, NINE INCH NAILS and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, among others.
