Voight Observes Jolie From Afar

THE CHAMP star Jon Voight was elated when he saw his estranged daughter Angelina Jolie at Sunday's (29FEB04) OSCARS - even though it was only on a TV screen.

The actor, who has been locked in a bitter feud with his stunning offspring for since 2002, watched Jolie present an award and then hoped to catch a real-life glimpse of her at the Vanity Fair party after the ceremony.

He told reporters on the night, "It was nice to see my beautiful daughter's face. She looks great, I certainly will wave if I see her."
