Velvet Revolver Video To Be Banned

Rockers VELVET REVOLVER are battling TV bosses who insist their latest video is too shocking to be broadcast.

The promo to new single FALL TO PIECES could be banned because it documents troubled singer SCOTT WEILAND's infamous battle with drugs and features heroin injections and graphic nudity.

Bassist DUFF McKAGAN says, "We had some of our wives in there, and Scott's wife, MARY, which the song was basically written around - the premise of his life falling down all around him, and he was separated from his wife and his two kids.

"And it was just, you know, kinda just - it's a family vibe. We're all in this together."

The gravel-voiced singer shot the gritty video with his bandmates SLASH, McKagan, MATT SORUM and DAVE KUSHNER in Los Angeles, under the direction of film-maker KEVIN KERSLAKE.
