Vaughn Careful With Celebrity Pals In Autobiography
Veteran screen star ROBERT VAUGHN is relaxed about publishing his controversial autobiography - because most of his revelations concern celebrities who have already passed away.
THE MAN FROM UNCLE icon, 72, is desperate not to offend anyone with his memoir CHRIST, HAMLET, HO CHI MINH: AS I KNEW THEM.
So Vaughn has decided to allow STEVE McQUEEN's widow to read the passages relating to her late husband, who died in 1980, before the book is approved for publishing.
Vaughn says, "Most of the people I am writing about have sadly passed on. But I will be letting Steve McQueen's first wife, NEILE, review the material before I send it to the publisher because there will be stories in there about my good friend Steve.
"I wouldn't want to see anything printed that was going to offend her."09/03/2005 17:51
