Vanilla Ice Returns For A Dose Of Reality

Faded rapper Vanilla Ice is preparing to make a comeback - as a reality TV star.

Ice, real name ROBERT VAN WINKLE, burst onto the music scene in 1990 with his chart-topping hit ICE ICE BABY, only to vanish soon after his arrival.

But the rapper-turned-real estate investor will now be setting up home with former TV evangelist Tammy Faye Messner, porn star Ron Jeremy and ex-Baywatch beauty Traci Bingham for 11 days to film SURREAL LIFE 2.

The stars will also be sharing their temporary Hollywood Hills abode - furnished in a pimp-like decor inspired by AUSTIN POWERS - with CHiPS icon ERIK ESTRADA and Real World: LAS VEGAS star TRISHELLE.

The housemates will be filmed interacting with one another, as well as taking field trips which will put them in contact with everyday people. They will also be joined by a different guest star each week.

The show is expected to hit American TV screens early next year (04).

Mc Hammer, Vince Neil, Corey Feldman and GABRIELLE CARTERIS were among those who starred in the show's first series at the beginning of the year.
