Van Halen Star To Take Over Stern's Hot Seat?

Former VAN HALEN star DAVID LEE ROTH is reportedly being lined up to replace controversial New York shock jock HOWARD STERN when he quits his daily talk show.

The JUMP singer is in negotiations with Infinity Broadcasting bosses about the soon-to-be-vacant radio spot after impressing them with guest appearances on rock radio shows across America.

Stern will become the host of a new uncensored Sirius Satellite Radio show next January (06) after falling out with radio bosses over restrictions they placed on his shows and fines issued for his bawdy talk.

Lee Roth has wowed radio fans in both Los Angeles and Boston after taking charge of classic rock shows for ArrowFM and KLSX Los Angeles.

Infinity insiders insist they'll be looking at several personalities to take over Stern's show in different territories.
