Valderrama's Career Took Off Because Of Tabloids
Actor Wilmer Valderrama was thrilled when US tabloids began writing about his love life, because it helped launch his acting career.
The THAT '70S SHOW star claims he was able to get rid his image as a nerdy character when tabloids began labelling him as a Hollywood lothario.
Valderrama has dated a string of high profile stars including Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore and Ashlee Simpson.
He explains, "Everybody thought I was FEZ until people started to care about who I was dating.
"If anything, my career blossomed because of the tabloids. Now I'm able to make a transition from being a SCREECH (Saved By The Bell character) or URKEL (FAMILY MATTERS character) type into a leading man.
"When was the last time you saw that?"
