United 93 Screened At White House
US President George W Bush watched UNITED 93 at a special screening at The White House in Washington DC last night (30MAY06), alongside relatives of some of the tragedy's victims.
Bush and his wife Laura were keen to see the first Hollywood film to be based on the September 11th (01) terrorist attacks.
The Paul Greengrass movie, set on the hijacked plane which crashed in Pennsylvania, recalls how passengers counter-attacked terrorists on Flight 93, which was believed to be heading for The White House.
White House spokeswoman DANA PERINO says, "The president has always said that those who were on the flight, that the passengers and crew members of the flight were heroes."
