Underworld Trilogy Lined Up Already

The makers of Underworld are so impressed the fantasy film has topped the American box office in its first week of release (ends19SEP03), they're planning two sequels.

The KATE BECKINSALE-starring film - which pitches vampires against werewolves - almost recouped its $23 million (GBP14.4 million) budget in its first week on the big screen, and is being touted as a trilogy already.

Len Wiseman, who began dating Beckinsale whilst filming the movie, will again direct and join Danny McBride on writing duties.
