Ulliel Beats Off Culkin To Play Young Lecter

A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT star Gaspard Ulliel is set to become the third actor to step into the twisted mind of sick movie cannibal Hannibal Lecter in another Silence Of The Lambs prequel.

The French actor is in negotiations to follow SIR Anthony Hopkins and Brian Cox (who played DR HANNIBAL LECKTOR in MANHUNTER) when he plays Lecter in BEHIND THE MASK, according to movie website www.moviehole.net.

Sources claim Ulliel beat Macauley Culkin and STAR WARS star Hayden Christensen to the role.

NOTTING HILL star Rhys Ifans and Scottish actor Kevin McKidd are also reportedly part of the film, which sets out to show how Lecter became a monster.

Hopkins will narrate the film.
