I so agree with Liv, it's about time somebody famous said something, so hopefully the women out there who shouldn't be wearing them will stop. I'm not skinny enough to wear them, I wouldn't dare, and I admit it. But, good grief, look at these girls with their baby fat hanging out or these grown women who should know better. Do they really look in the mirror while trying to stuff as much of themselves into these jeans and think "wow, I look great?" "boy, these jeans are really slimming." Come on. So many women who are attractive wear these jeans yet, the jeans and what hangs out of them it's so distracting that people can't see beyond that and see the person wearing the jeans. So... GO LIV!!!!!!!

The death of Dana Reeve is tragic. Death is always tragic. The jeans article is fluff. In no way were they trying to make it more important than it is. It wasn't breaking news on CNN, the article wasn't meant to be earth shattering. So there is no comparison, nor should there be. So many horrible things are going on in the world so sometimes people want a break, they need no brainer articles, they need the fluff. There is no harm in it. It doesn't lessen the importance of Dana Reeves' life. So, just take the article for what it is, don't make it more important than it should be.

It just seems to me that especially now, with the passing of Dana Reeve, that people would think of other things rather than focusing on what other people are wearing, or should be wearing. Maybe someone gained a few pounds, who cares. I'm very thin, I can wear whatever I want, but I don't walk around pointing out the fashion flaws of others. It's not my business.
