Trump Sues Author Over Tell-All

Donald Trump has filed a $5 billion (GBP2.7 billion) lawsuit against the author of a book on the property mogul, claiming it is full of lies.

The Apprentice reality TV star filed a suit against TRUMPNATION: The Art Of Being The Donald author TIMOTHY O'BRIEN and his publisher Warner Books in a New Jersey state court today (24JAN06).

Trump claims the book includes false and malicious statements about the billionaire businessman, his family, his personal life and his business moves.

The lawsuit is asking for $2.5 billion (GBP1.3 billion) in compensatory damages and $2.5 billion in punitive damages.
