Trump Locked In Money Woes

Property tycoon Donald Trump is enjoying growing success in the celebrity world, but his business operations have been hit with financial woes.

His TRUMP HOTELS AND CASINO RESORTS in New Jersey has filed bankruptcy protection as a way to help restructure the struggling company.

The plan, which was announced on Monday (09AUG04), calls for the mogul and the investment banker CREDIT SUISSE FIRST BOSTON to invest $400 million (GBP220 million) in the corporation, which will help pay down its $1.8 billion debt (GBP550 million).

Trump became a household name this year (04) with his hit reality TV show The Apprentice.
