Trump Hates Firing Reality Tv Stars

Property tycoon Donald Trump is thrilled his new reality TV show is a big hit, but he hates having to fire hopeful moguls.

More than 20 million Americans tuned in to watch the debut of THE Apprentice last week (ends09JAN04), and watched Trump fire the first of 16 people hoping to land a job with him.

The businessman admits that although he looked comfortable sacking his first victim, he hates having to let people go.

He says, "I don't like firing people. Sadly over the years I've fired so many people, I didn't need the practice. I've never been fired."

More than 215,000 hopefuls signed up for the TV hit - a new reality show record - and Trump admires every one of them.

He adds, "I don't think this would be for me."
