Trump Dismisses Governor Rumours

LATEST: Property tycoon Donald Trump has hit out at speculation he is set to run for New York Governor this year (06), insisting he is having too much fun with other projects.

THE APPRENTICE star was tipped as a candidate by leading Republican and Senate Majority Leader JOSEPH BRUNO during a News Channel 10 interview in Albany on Friday (30DEC05).

But despite admitting he was "honoured" by the proposal, Trump is adamant a political life is not on the cards yet.

He told the New York Post, "I'm not going to run for governor because I'm having too much fun doing what I'm doing now."
