Travolta Leaves Sponsor Red-Faced
Hollywood icon John Travolta has left his beer company sponsor fuming after letting slip he gave up alcohol after only trying it once.
The 51-year-old recently launched an advertising campaign in which he promotes HEINEKEN beer as his Get Shorty / Be Cool character CHILI PALMER.
But Travolta prefers to drink water or tea after getting drunk once in his youth and not enjoying the experience.
He says, "After that, I realised alcohol was not for me."
