Tori Spelling Signs For Dickens Update

Former BEVERLY HILLS 90210 actress Tori Spelling has signed up to star in a TV movie update of A Christmas Carol.

Spelling, daughter of veteran producer Aaron Spelling, will play the SCROOGE-like title character in A CAROL CHRISTMAS.

In the updated version of the CHARLES DICKENS classic, the actress will play an evil talk show host who's forced to rethink her ways after a series of events.

Production is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles this month (SEP03).
