Timberlake Trails Top Journalist
Pop star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has been looking into an old lawsuit filed by ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, BRUCE WILLIS and DENZEL WASHINGTON - to research his role as a reporter in a new movie.
The CRY ME A RIVER hunk is branching into acting and has been trailing PULITZER PRIZE-winning journalist BOB PORTERFIELD to research his part in EDISON.
Timberlake studied the action stars' lawsuit - against an electronics firm that used their likeness in adverts without permission - for about 45 minutes at Los Angeles's county courthouse.
ASSOCIATED PRESS journalist Porterfield says, "He was interested in learning how you retrieve these public records. Basically, I showed him how you find them, how you request them.
"I thought he was sharp. He seemed attentive and interested in learning this stuff. He has a real interest in developing his part. He took quite a few notes."
Police corruption thriller Edison is set to start shooting in Canada in the next few weeks, and also stars KEVIN SPACEY, MORGAN FREEMAN and LL COOL J.02/03/2004 18:01
