Thurman Kept Film Costs Down By Wearing Her Own Clothes

The budget on UMA THURMAN's new comedy PRIME was so small, the KILL BILL star used her own clothes as costumes.

The statuesque actress, who stars in the movie alongside MERYL STREEP, is relieved to hear that her character's sense of style has been applauded by those who have already seen the film, because it's all her own work.

She says, "I styled myself so I'm happy to hear it. Half of it was my own clothes.

"There was no money in the budget so I had to pull clothes out from my own closet and put it together, so all my friends were laughing watching the movie. 'There's the new shoes! There's my purse!'

"I don't really have one style. I'm eclectic, somebody who likes to change."
