Thousands Of Fans Honour Dimebag

Murdered ex-PANTERA guitarist 'DIMEBAG' DARRELL ABBOTT was honoured by thousands of music fans yesterday (14DEC04) at a memorial service in Arlington, Texas.

Ex-Marine NATHAN GALE was shot dead by police after he gunned down Abbott and three others at the star's gig with his band DAMAGEPLAN in a Columbus, Ohio, nightclub last week (08DEC04).

Thousands of fans filled the Arlington Convention Center with touching banners and wreaths, in remembrance of Abbott, who was buried at a private funeral earlier in the day.

One fan complains, "A legend died on Wednesday night. I guarantee I'll be telling my kids about this day and the day that he died. My heart was broken."
