Thompson Sparkles Again

LOVE ACTUALLY star Emma Thompson triumphed again at the LONDON FILM CRITICS' CIRCLE last night (12FEB04) - and continued her recent image makeover.

The 44-year-old, noted in recent years for her dowdy domestic appearance, wowed the crowds at the EVENING STANDARD BRITISH FILM and Empire Film Awards this month (FEB04) by appearing in stunning dresses and a new blonde hairstyle whilst picking up gongs for her portrayal of KAREN in the hit comedy.

Thompson donned a low cut MARIA GRACHVOGEL cream dress at the Film Critic bash at London's Dorchester Hotel, and even signalled she has changed her opinion of film reviewers.

After once damning critics as "sadistic", she said, "now I will love them forever."
