The Terminal Lands On Top Of British Box Office
THE TERMINAL has raced to the top of the British box office charts after its first weekend (04SEP04) on release.
Director STEVEN SPIELBERG's tale of lost identity took nearly $2.7 million (GBP1.5 million) - knocking BEN STILLER and VINCE VAUGHN's DODGEBALL: A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY off the top spot.
Dodgeball managed to fight off the other new releases to hold on to second place, while comic caper HELLBOY leapt into third place with weekend takings of $1.65 million (GBP1.1 million).
Film-maker M NIGHT SHYAMALAN's spooky THE VILLAGE and thriller THE BOURNE SUPREMACY complete the top five.07/09/2004 21:15
