The Strokes Head South Of The Border
THE STROKES are following in the footsteps of fellow cult rockers THE WHITE STRIPES by heading off on their first tour of South America.
The New York group plans to play their first shows of 2005 in Brazil, Argentina and Chile in October.
The shows will feature tracks from the group's upcoming third album.
Meanwhile, manager RYAN GENTLES tells Billboard.com that singer JULIAN CASABLANCAS has ditched his famous distorted vocals for the new album.
He says, "The producer, DAVID KAHNE, really taught Julian how to accept his voice and hear it over the top of the mix."14/07/2005 09:09
