The Passion's Too Much For Cleese
JOHN CLEESE refuses to watch MEL GIBSON's THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST because he hates to see anyone suffer.
The British funnyman, who co-starred and co-wrote MONTY PYTHON's religious spoof LIFE OF BRIAN, knows he'd find the film a little too gruelling for his delicate tastes.
He says, "I don't enjoy violence and I don't want to see anyone being tortured."30/04/2004 09:02
