The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe Comes To Life
Classic fantasy novel THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE will become the latest book to be transformed into a movie.
ANDREW ADAMSON, a director on SHREK and next June's (04) sequel, is in the early stages of adapting the 53-year-old novel, the most popular of CS LEWIS' seven-part CHRONICLES OF NARNIA.
He has enlisted the New Zealand special effects studio behind the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy to develop creature designs for the story, which follows four children who travel through a wardrobe to enter a mystical land ruled by an evil witch.
The issue garnering a lot of attention is how ASLAN the lion will be portrayed in the flick.
Adamson says, "I read the book when I was eight years old and it seemed very real to me. Aslan has to be, first and foremost, a real lion."27/07/2003 21:05
