The Darkness Find A Replacement
British glam rockers The Darkness have reportedly found a replacement for their recently departed bassist Frankie Poullain.
The guitarist quit the I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE stars on Monday (23MAY05) after clashing with remaining members, JUSTIN and Dan Hawkins and ED GRAHAM over "musical differences".
However, British newspaper The Sun claims the group have recruited roadie RICHARD EDWARDS to step into Poullain's guitar strap.
An industry insider says, "The band really trust him and as they've got to know him, they've realised what a musical talent he is. He also fits in well and knows them all already.
"The group didn't want a newcomer."
