The Darkness Film Mountain Video

British rockers The Darkness are pulling out all the stops with their new video, and hope it's outrageous setting will amaze their fans.

The band, fronted by Justin Hawkins, recorded the promo for LOVE IS ONLY A FEELING in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia.

And they admit the video is a conscious attempt to compete with the mega-budget heavy metal videos of the late 1980s.

Hawkins says, "In terms of it being picturesque and grand, there's nothing that can even touch it.

"The reference point would be GUNS N' ROSES's NOVEMBER RAIN, but it p**es all over that.

"There are some playing solos on the mountains and helicopter shots. We really went in hard on the mountain angle."
