Terminator Tv Series On The Way

A TV show based around the hit Terminator films is in the early stages of production.

The US show will pick up the action at the end of TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY and will focus on Linda Hamilton's heroine SARAH CONNOR and her son JOHN.

C2 Pictures producer JAMES MIDDLETON, who worked on TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES, tells US magazine Variety about his new project: "She has the weight of the world on her shoulders and she also has to raise a 14-year-old son who may be the salvation of the world."

And fans of the ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER-fronted franchise can expect a high quality script from the pen of a scriptwriter with an excellent sci-fi pedigree.

Josh Friedman, who wrote the original draft for Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds adaptation, says, "(My) challenge is trying to figure out how to reinterpret (Connor) for television.

"The last thing I want to do is take a title and exploit it. The show needs to stand on its own while still being respectful of the franchise."

Reports indicate neither Hamilton nor Edward Furlong will reprise their roles for TV.

If you have a problem with trying to understand Time Paradox's then stop watching Sci Fi shows and stick with something your IQ can handle, like say, Grey's Anatomy, a brainless show about a bunch of doctors humping everything that moves.

At least they have an idea for the concluding episode: the son survives, changes history, and those machines never existed. Oops, then they never came back to kill him and then he never made the change, so they developed anyway to come back to kill him. Oops, then how did they know that he would endanger them by making a change when if they did not kill him he would not have made, oops, except that if they succeed in killing him then he would not make the change that would endanger him, ummm, oops.
