Tears For Fears Return

TEARS FOR FEARS are capitalising on the massive success of their recently covered song MAD WORLD by releasing their first single in 14 years.

GARY JULES and MICHAEL ANDREWS' version of Mad World - which featured in cult movie DONNIE DARKO - topped the British single charts for three weeks over Christmas (DEC03), and now ROLAND ORZABAL and CURT SMITH are following up the renewed interest in the music with new track CLOSEST THING TO HEAVEN.

Tears For Fears - who last released a record together in 1991 - will follow up the track with a new album EVERYBODY LOVES A HAPPY ENDING in April (04).
