T.I. Was Shootout 'Peacemaker'

LATEST: US rapper T.I. tried to make peace during a shootout in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Wednesday (03MAY06) which left a member of his entourage dead, according to touring partner YUNG JOC. Police say the incident occurred following an after-hours party at Roselawn's Club Ritz celebrating a performance by T.I. and YUNG JOC, when the posse got into an argument with another group. After the gangs left the establishment the fight spilled onto the highway with the rivals shooting at each other from within two vans, leaving PHILANT JOHNSON, 25, dead and three others wounded. Yung Joc appeared on Atlanta, Georgia, radio station V-103 FM the same day, and stressed T.I. was not involved in the violence and tried to diffuse to explosive situation.
