Suspect Charged In Shooting Of Jam Master Jay's Nephew
A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting of slain rap hero JAM MASTER JAY's nephew BOE SKAGZ.
KARL JORDAN was charged on 10 August (03) with second-degree attempted murder, second and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm and assault in the first degree, relating to the 14 May (03) shooting.
Bail has been set at $50,000 (GBP31,250) and Jordan will next appear in court Tuesday (26AUG03).
Jordan, who has been identified as the son of a friend to Jam Master's family, was named by Skagz - real name RODNEY JONES - as the assailant who hit him in the leg after firing multiple shots at him.
Reports in the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS yesterday (20AUG03) also linked Jordan and his father DARREN JORDAN to the murder of Jam Master himself last year (30OCT02) - although police are at pains to point out no suspects have been named in their enquiries.21/08/2003 17:11
