Studt's Crow Fears

Up-and-coming singer AMY STUDT was terrified about covering SHERYL CROW's hit ALL I WANNA DO - despite the American singer asking her to do it.

The MISFIT star, 17, was surprised when rocker Sheryl requested the new British singer revamp her 1993 single, which launched Sheryl to worldwide fame.

Studt says, "I was in a meeting with my record company and they said, 'Sheryl Crow has asked if you want to cover her song.'

"I absolutely adored the track. The offer really blew me away. I was surprised she knew who I a was and I was incredibly flattered.

"But I was frightened I would be burned at the stake."

Amy's cover was released in her native Britain on Monday (12JAN04).
