Strokes' Hammond Gets Into Nightclub Business
Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr is teaming up with Emmy-winning comedian David Cross to launch a nightclub.
The LAST NITE hitmaker, 26, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind funnyman, 41 have bought shares in Manhattan nightspot Eleven.
Cross' girlfriend SARA EGAN will manage the rock venue, which will undergo extensive revamping and renaming, but original owner SIMON RIBOK will stay on, reports gossip site PageSix.com.
