Stone Slams Bush Reaction To 9/11

Controversial director OLIVER STONE has hit out at US President GEORGE W BUSH for "misusing" his powers after the terrorist attacks on September 11th (01).

The NATURAL BORN KILLERS film-maker, who is currently preparing the first major Hollywood movie to deal with the 2001 atrocities, believes Bush is the wrong man to lead America at the moment, and he is particularly angry about the US invasion of Iraq.

Stone says, "There was an over-reaction after 9/11. Bush was given enormous powers and misused them. He created a war in Iraq that has further helped bust the economy, and has led to civil war there.

"He was the wrong leader at the wrong time. I always felt that. I wish I was wrong."

One more thing while you're writing that check for 50,000 (3trillion/60 million - bush debt/bush voters)you might want to think about his other legacies of incompetence. Iran N Korea Africa Osama's still free, and more powerful then ever. America is more hated and mistrusted then ever. 17,000 wounded American Soldiers. Millions of opportunities for American adults and children wasted by 5 years of Bush incompetence. Millions of untreated illnesses in America alone for Bush's incompetence. So cough up some of your "Personal Responsibility". Pay for your negligent vote. That's just for starters. 80% of Americans will be paying the price of your disasterous decision (Bush Vote) for years. You better start praying, along with Bushie. I don't think God will approve of people who lie, steal, cheat, create war and do it in His name. I'll be he even had Reagan moved out of his little special place in Hell, just waiting for Bush and his mindless supporters.

It seems Mr. acorn has stopped his spin. Maybe he's done some much needed research. I don't see an apology for wasting our time. An apology for a Bush vote would be more appropriate. There really is no disagreeing with the Facts. 1) Bush created a quagmire and lied in creating it. a)He kicked Blix out of Iraq to do this. b)Blix found no weapons, despite going where Powell told him to. c)Iraq was never a threat or a significant terror player. 2) Bush's tax giveaway was and is a bad idea. a)All mainstream economists agree. b)Even Warren Buffet and initially Greenspan were against him. 3) He has wasted billions on Iraq v. other more important priorities. (re-educating our workforce, healthcare, children's education, the Environment) Bush is incompetent on ALL counts. 4) He continues with his Fascist methodologies. Controlling the press, delcaring dissenters unpatriotic, intentionally misleading people. Instead of traditional Fascism, his corporate buddies now control the government. Despite any personal attacks against me or other liberals, Bush Lovers can't get away from the fact that Bush is Bad for America. Maybe you could apologize with a check. After all we weren't stupid enough to plunge this country into such debt.

You've had plenty of time. Still nothing but your ridiculous - your word - spin. The facts betray you and your ignorance of history is apalling. You and your friends should stay off the Kool Aid. Sorry I just don't have the time for your needed K-12 education.
