Stone Age Producer Recovers From Critical Illness

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE producer CHRIS GOSS is recovering in a Californian hospital following a ten-day spell in critical condition over the Christmas period.

Goss, who also fronts MASTERS OF REALITY, was rushed to a Palm Springs hospital after suffering an internal infection.

A message on the QOTSA website reads: "After ten days of drifting in and out of consciousness, Chris has finally begun to stabilize.

"Although he is not out of the woods, it seems he's starting to heal. He was having to write messages to visitors because he is not yet allowed to use his beautiful vocal chords. Things are headed in the right direction.

"We can't afford to lose such a bad a*s."

Goss has regularly worked with QOTSA frontman JOSH HOMME since the early 90s, when Homme was guitarist in legendary desert rockers KYUSS.
