Stipe: Law Should Play Me In A Musical

Rocker MICHAEL STIPE wants to sign up JUDE LAW or KYLIE MINOGUE to play him in a musical based on the life of his band REM.

The SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE singer would love it if someone wrote a play that included his band's hits - as has already happened for QUEEN, ABBA and ROD STEWART - and he's so taken with the idea that he is already considering who he wants to portray him.

Stipe says, "I'd like to see Jude Law as me. Or Kylie. Or a synthesis of the two. Maybe they could put them in a blender. If I can't get them, I'd settle for ROBBIE WILLIAMS or IAN HART. He's a great actor."
