Sting Set For Grammys Beatles Tribute

STING, DAVE MATTHEWS, VINCE GILL and THE NEPTUNES' PHARRELL WILLIAMS will team up as the ultimate BEATLES tribute group at the GRAMMY AWARDS on Sunday (08FEB04).

The quartet will play FAB FOUR hits as part of a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the Beatles' first American TV appearance on THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW.

PRINCE, BEYONCE, BLACK EYED PEAS and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE have also been added to the line-up of live acts performing at the Grammys in Los Angeles.

In addition, JACKSON BROWNE, EMMYLOU HARRIS, DWIGHT YOAKAM and EAGLES star TIMOTHY B SCHMIDT will perform a tribute to the late WARREN ZEVON.

Other performers set for the ceremony include 50 CENT, FOO FIGHTERS with CHICK COREA, the WHITE STRIPES, MARTINA McBRIDE and CHRISTINA AGUILERA.

There will also be a tribute to ailing soul star LUTHER VANDROSS, performed by CELINE DION, ALICIA KEYS and RICHARD MARX, and a funk tribute segment featuring OUTKAST and EARTH, WIND + FIRE.
