Stiller's Fear Of Dating Led To Marriage

Zoolander actor Ben Stiller married his wife Christine Taylor because he was fed-up with, and useless at, dating.

The 38-year-old funnyman met Taylor when she auditioned for a TV pilot he was directing, but only married her in May 2000 because he didn't have the "energy" to date anymore.

He says, "I hated dating, I was no good at it. It took so much energy and the idea of pulling the best possible version of yourself out there takes a lot of energy to keep up.

"I always looked forward to the time when you didn't have to do that anymore. So I got married."

Since walking down the aisle the Stiller and Taylor have become the proud parents of two-year-old ELLA OLIVIA.
