Stern Denies Marriage Reports On First Satellite Show

Shock jock Howard Stern took the opportunity to deny reports he has married his longterm girlfriend Beth Ostrosky on the first live broadcast of his new radio show.

The controversial radio host kicked off a new era as a DJ on the Sirius satellite network earlier today (09JAN06), and decided the time was right to speak out about his personal life.

He said, "I am not married. It's a nice feeling that we get along great. We're very happy and I don't want to f**k it up."

Stern's new on-air announcer is former STAR TREK star George Takei.

Since Sirius announced Stern would be presenting the subscription only show, its audience has increased from 600,000 to 2.2 million.
