Stella McCartney Claims To Not Even Be Engaged

LATEST: Fashion designer Stella Mccartney insist's she's not engaged to boyfriend ALASDHAIR WILLIS - despite reports the pair are to marry later this month (JUL03).

Stella - daughter of Beatles legend SIR PAUL McCARTNEY - is keen to honour her late mother LINDA when she gets married by exchanging vows on her favourite beach, at Saddell in Kintyre, Scotland.

But she's used her current visit to New York to promote her new perfume as an opportunity to dismiss wedding reports - even though she is wearing a ring on her engagement finger.

Stella, 31, told the crowd assembled at a launch party for her fragrance, "Don't worry, I'll come back and do an engagement launch."
