Stella McCartney 'Very Proud' Of Degree

Fashion designer Stella Mccartney is "very proud" to receive an honorary degree for her innovative and inspirational work in the fashion industry.

GUCCI partner McCartney has collected her Doctor of Laws (LLD) from the UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE, Scotland, at a ceremony at the SADLER'S WELLS venue in Islington, London - and she admits receiving a highly respected accolade was something she never predicted.

The 31-year-old says, "I am very very proud. I wouldn't have thought it. It's the sort of thing you don't imagine when you are a kid in college."

The acclaimed designer wore a tailored black trouser suit and white shirt, with her hair swept back, to collect the doctorate.
