Stefani Can't Work Without Her Harajuku Girls
Gwen Stefani is so in love with Japanese culture, she has to have Harajaku girls travelling with her wherever she goes.
The No Doubt frontwoman, whose latest album LOVE ANGEL MUSIC BABY (Lamb) is a celebration of trendy Tokyo neighbourhood Harajaku, has dedicated the track WHAT YOU WAITING FOR to the ladies, who she describes as her "living accessories".
She explains, "The concept for the album was based on the whole Harajaku lifestyle scene in Tokyo and the idea of self-expression through fashion and being unique and individual.
"I was on a quest. I was like: 'I know, I'm gonna get some Harajaku girls and I'm gonna roll with them everywhere I go!'"
