Stars Pay Tribute To Odb
Hip-hop stars Pharrell Williams, Wyclef Jean and Coolio have paid tribute to late rapper OL' DIRTY BASTARD, following his shock death on Saturday (13NOV04).
The former WU-TANG CLAN star collapsed and died at a Manhattan recording studio, days before his 36th birthday.
Neptunes producer and singer Williams described ODB's sudden death as "a shame" and called for the rap community to "stick together a little more and it won't hurt as much next time".
Williams added, "He was a great guy, a nice guy."
FUGEES star WYCLEF JEAN lamented, "He was one of those that put a sparkle to hip-hop."
COOLIO said, "Hip-hop lost some flavour."
