Stars Laugh About Pryor's Death At Tribute Night

Late funnyman RICHARD PRYOR was sent off with a few laughs last night (11DEC05) when stars including CHRIS ROCK, DAMON WAYANS and EDDIE MURPHY joined a comedy tribute to the comedian.

The stars came out for the Chocolate Sundae show at Hollywood's Laugh Factory, where Pryor's manager paid tribute to the comedy legend, who died of a heart attack on Saturday (10DEC05).

Posting a message on his website, Wayans, who urged fans to laugh about Pryor's life, wrote, "There are many different kinds of comedians... the observational humorist, the impressionist, the character creator, the physical comedian, the self-deprecator, and the dirty-joke teller.

"What made Richard Pryor so brilliant is he was able to incorporate all these styles at once."
