Stars Come Out For Brian Wilson

Red Hot Chili Peppers thrilled BEACH BOYS star Brian Wilson on Friday night (11FEB05), by opening his MusiCares gala with a cover of I GET AROUND.

The California rockers were among the stars paying tribute to the 15th MusiCares honoree in Los Angeles.

Neil Young dedicated IN MY ROOM to Wilson and his late brothers DENNIS and CARL, and Backstreet Boys performed WHEN I GROW UP (TO BE A MAN).

Other acts paying tribute to the rock icon at the 15th annual MusiCares party included Fire">EARTH, WIND + FIRE, MICHAEL MCDONALD, Brit star Jamie Cullum and the Barenaked Ladies.

But Wilson himself provided the night's highlight when he performed a medley of his hits with his all-star friends.
