Stars Attend Hollywood Make-Up Man's Funeral

A host of Hollywood stars have attended the funeral of movie make up artist ROBERT McCANN in Scotland.

ROBERT CARLYLE, THANDIE NEWTON and KELLY McDONALD joined McCann's family and his longterm partner PETER LAWSON at the service near Glasgow.

TOM CRUISE, who worked with McCANN on MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II, sent a huge bouquet of flowers with a message for Lawson that read, "Dear Peter, Robert was very special and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time."

McCann has worked with NICOLE KIDMAN on seven movies, but there was no sign of the STEPFORD WIVES star at the funeral.

The 47-year-old suffered a massive fatal heart attack at his New York apartment earlier this month (12JUN05). He is survived by a 21-year-old son.
