Springsteen Takes Devils + Dust To The Top Of The Us Charts

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN has scored number albums on both sides of the Atlantic after debuting at the top of the BILLBOARD charts today (04MAY05).

The Boss' latest release, DEVILS + DUST, claimed the number one spot from MATCHBOY TWENTY star ROB THOMAS with a 222,000 sales week.

Thomas' SOMETHING TO BE dropped to number four, while another former chart-topper, MARIAH CAREY's THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI stayed put at number two.

R+B sensation BOBBY V's DISTURBING THA PEACE PRESENTS: BOBBY V crashes in at number three with 180,000 units sold.

Other new entries in the top 10 are AMERIE's TOUCH, country star JO DEE MESSINA's DELICIOUS SURPRISE.
