Spiteri Slams Split Rumours

Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri has rubbished claims she's close to splitting from boyfriend of eight years ASHLEY HEATH, insisting the couple are still "very much in love".

Reports in the British press yesterday alleged the pair - who have one-year-old daughter MISTY KYD - spent Christmas apart after magazine executive Heath walked out the family's North London home.

But Spiteri has dismissed the story as lies, insisting she and Heath spent a "wonderful Christmas" together: "The story we are in trouble is ridiculous

"We're happy and still very much in love. Things are going great and we think that all is well.

"I can't believe it. I'm hurt by these claims. It is disappointing that people are making up stories like this."
