Spice Girls Agree To Greatest Hits
British pop group THE SPICE GIRLS are reuniting one final time for a Greatest Hits album and a one-off concert.
After years of speculation over the WANNABE group's future, the five girls have finally agreed to release one last album for this Christmas (04), according to British tabloid THE SUN.
And now GERI HALLIWELL, VICTORIA BECKHAM, EMMA BUNTON, MELANIE BROWN and MELANIE CHISHOLM have all signed a deal for the record and reunion gig.
Mel C - who has previously spoken out against the idea of a Spice reunion - was the last member to sign the deal, after being dropped by her record label VIRGIN this week (ends11JAN04).
A source says, "She (Mel C) didn't want to let go of the last vestiges of a solo career. That's gone down the pan now so they have OK'd it.
"It was always the goal of their old manager SIMON FULLER to reunite them.
"That's partly why he took on Emma and Victoria after they were dropped by their label.
"It's unfinished business because they sacked him before he had finished with them."11/01/2004 10:30
