Special Tribute Held For Vandross

Pals of Luther Vandross continued to honour the late soul star on Monday (11JUL05) with a special musical tribute.

New York radio station KISS-FM hosted an all-star tribute to the late R+B singer at Harlem's Abyssinian Baptist Church, where Whitney Houston's mother CISSY HOUSTON, Jaheim, Erykah Badu, FREDDIE JACKSON and Jill Scott were among those who performed, reports MTV News.

Vandross, 54, died on 1 July (05) at a New Jersey hospital, two years after he suffered a debilitating stroke.
